Our Emil step stool made of oak evokes memories of old times with its traditional shape. The classic piece of furniture is probably familiar to many from visits to the grandparents, where it served as a small seat when the grandchildren came to visit.

Of course, the wooden stool did not only exist when our parents and grandparents discovered it themselves. The furniture has been part of the basic equipment of many houses since ancient times. Admittedly, the small stool has lost its popularity in recent decades. With its versatility and space-saving size, this classic could soon enjoy renewed popularity.


Then and now, for young and old
In the past, the stool was used as a footstool to keep your feet off the cold floor when sitting. Today, putting your feet up is more a matter of coziness. But when sitting in the TV chair or on the sofa, the footstool still provides comfort and relaxation.

The furniture has always been used as a step stool. Before children are big enough to get to the sink on their own, they also need a step. Our stool made of solid oak cannot be tilted thanks to its flared legs and is also very stable.

Apart from that, the wooden stool is a handy side table where you can put a drink or a book. Whether outside on the balcony, in the garden or in the reading armchair, the small shelf is quickly picked up.


materials and manufacturing
Our classic stool is made in an equally classic way: by hand, by an experienced carpenter. The parts of the seat and legs are made of solid oak and are plugged and glued. The stool is extremely stable and durable.

The wood surface and all corners and edges are finely sanded. High quality wood oil protects the oak wood, gives it a noble color and enhances the natural grain.
