The large solid oak cutting board is a stylish accessory for well-equipped kitchens. The board is extremely robust and durable thanks to its solid oak and 3 cm material thickness.

The surface gets its velvety feel from several sanding processes. The board is completely handmade and processed. Food-safe oil gives the wood its surface protection while enhancing the natural grain.

The simple, timeless design gives the board an understated charm while exemplifying quality and durability. Thanks to the recessed handles on the side, the board can also be easily picked up and carried from flat surfaces, making it ideal as a serving board as well.


Oak as an ideal material for cutting boards
An advantage of oak wood is particularly noticeable with cutting boards: the tannic acid in the oak wood kills bacteria before they can develop. This makes the board antibacterial.

Our cutting boards are glued, which makes them extra robust and durable. The gluing gives the wood more space, as it is a "living" natural material that works. Gluing is therefore important, especially for larger boards, to minimize the risk of warping and cracking. The high quality glue is of course food safe.
